• DOCUMENTS TO BE ISSUED BY RED BULL, no other documents to accompany goods
• SASO: inspection to be done & certificate issued before loading! – arranged by CSC contact
• NEW REQUIREMENT effective 27 the January 2009, Saudi Arabian customs authority has strictly implemented the below procedure concerning the country of origin of the shipments imported to Saudi Arabia. Failure to follow these instruction are treated as a serious offense:
  • 1. The country of Origin/Made in ----- must be mentioned (engraved or affixed - non removable sticker) on each item and also should be printed clearly on the inner boxes/ shipping cartons
  • 2. If the shipment is originated from any European Country, then the exact Country where the item was manufactured / produced must be mentioned in the certificate of origin, "EUROPEAN UNION " is not enough.
  • 3. If one package / cases contain cargo from various countries, then the manufacturing country of each item should show its own country of origin in the shipping documents and the product .
  • 4. If any shipment arrives with out Country of Origin / Made in ----- , customs will not allow to clear the shipment and the cargo should be returned to the source by the shipper

IMPORTANT – new requirement for all shipments reaching Jeddah port from 01st February 2009 onwards: every product and the packaging must show clearly the country of origin (see below more detailed information)

new 2010: electrical items must carry UK-plugs only & coolers must be REE labelled
